Payatas district is an economically deprived area in the vicinity of Payatas Dump site where immense amount of garbage is brought in from around the Metro Manila region daily.
Praise Emerald International School is a privately run school that provides elementary to secondary level Christian education to the poor children in the community at affordable cost for the poor families who live in the region. Its curriculum is designed to develop STAR (smarter, transformational, active and righteous) leaders for the community, and the credit earned here is transferable to other public schools.
