Hands of Love Philippines Foundation Inc (HOLPFI) does community development in rural communities in the Philippines the VOC way. Established in 2007, HOLPFI is now working at its pilot community, Barangay San Andres in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro. HOLPFI works with community people through the following community-initiated programs and projects for their comprehensive and holistic development.
▪ Mangyan Development – Literacy and Livelihood for the Alangan-Mangyan communities around San Andres.
▪ Sido Mangyan School – constructed a school building and partially supports the children's education through school supplies and feeding
▪ Elementary School support – support for the lowland children at San Andres Elementary Schoool through Values Instruction Class, school supply , Parents Seminar, various school activities to hone the children's talents and skills to bring out their full potential.
▪ High School Transportation Support – Sixty students can go to nearly high school because they are provided with school bus service. Parents also share their counterpart for the project.
▪ Livelihood (Lowlanders) – HOLPFI facilitates creation of livelihood programs that benefits their families
▪ Leadership Development – HOLPFI regularly attends barangay council, gives advice on how to better use their meager budget for community development
